19.13.9 Training

The Accessibility Coordinator shall promote awareness of accessibility issues among University Personnel including faculty, Information Technology staff, staff responsible for procurement, and staff who regularly interact with students who may request accommodation for a Disability. The University will provide training and support as needed for University Personnel in connection with this Policy, and accessibility issues in general. Although the University will provide periodic training, University Personnel are responsible for informing the Accessibility Coordinator when any specifically targeted training is needed, or when a specific question arises regarding compliance with this Policy, or accessibility in general. The Accessibility Coordinator shall coordinate all accessibility training and shall coordinate the response to all inquiries by University Personnel pertaining to accessibility.
