19.11 Non-Disclosure

The services, plans, ideas, and data (confidential information) of FNU are the property of FNU and should never be given to an outside University/entity or individual except through normal channels and with appropriate authorization from an officer of FNU.

The protection of confidential business information and trade secrets is vital to the interests and the success of FNU. Such confidential information includes but is not limited to the following examples:

  1. Financial information
  2. Development strategies
  3. Pending projects and proposals
  4. Student lists
  5. Compensation data
  6. Other institution-sensitive information

Any improper transfer of material or disclosure of information, even though it is not apparent that an employee has personally gained by such action, constitutes unacceptable conduct. Any employee who participates in such a practice or discloses trade secrets may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment and legal action.
