19.13.5 Electronic Documents

Standard. Electronic documents that are distributed by the University as part of a University Program must be Accessible and provide Full and Equal Access (as applicable) as defined in this Policy. Legacy electronic documents predating this Policy must be made Accessible before being used again.

The roles of University Personnel and the Accessibility Coordinator. University Personnel creating and/or using an electronic document for distribution as part of a University Program are responsible for confirming, if necessary, by consulting with the Accessibility Coordinator, that the document is Accessible. The Accessibility Coordinator will:

  • coordinate University-wide document accessibility solutions; and
  • implement procedures for ensuring that materials digitized or hosted by the library are Accessible.
