12.11 Smoking

In keeping with FNU’s intent to provide a safe and healthful work environment, smoking is prohibited throughout the workplace except in designated smoking areas. In situations where the preferences of smokers and non-smokers are in direct conflict, the preferences of non-smokers will prevail.

This policy applies equally to all members of administration, employees, faculty, customers, and visitors. This policy also applies to traditional, electronic, vapor cigarettes and cigars.
