Section B: Clinical / Practicum / Simulation 

Section B of the Service Agreement applies specifically to Allied Health and Nursing Division activities. Faculty may receive clinical / practicum / simulation assignments at various points within a term/semester, as clinical assignments are needed by the program. Clinical assignments will be based on the total number of hours required to meet the clinical requirements of the course and will be divided across the weeks when the clinical activity occurs. Service Agreements must be submitted one week before the start of the clinical rotation. It is understood that some clinical rotations will not begin at the beginning of a semester. Clinical faculty will not receive compensation during weeks when they are not assigned to a clinical rotation. There is no Course Management component for any items in Section B. All clinical and simulation faculty are required to utilize the ADP time clock for all hours worked in accordance with Clinical Rotations, Practicums, and Simulation assignments. 

MSN Practicum Evaluation in the Nurse Practitioner Programs will be limited to 8 students per clinical course, and the number of students assigned must be clearly stated on the Service Agreement. MSN Clinical/Practicum Evaluators will be compensated 1.5 hours for each assigned student. Clinical /Practicum Evaluators are required to utilize the ADP time clock, and the Typhon time log feature, for all hours worked in accordance with Practicum hours. 

Clinical Coordinator hours will be documented in this section, and should be contracted for the actual scheduled weekly hours they will work in column A. Clinical Coordinator hours should be scheduled by day of week and time in columns “B” and “C”. Clinical Coordinators are required to utilize the ADP time clock for all hours worked in accordance with the hours contracted and scheduled on the Service Agreement.
