6.22 Resignation

Should you decide to end your employment with the Institution, it is our sincere wish that you leave with a feeling of mutual respect and friendship. The Institution requires at least a two (2) weeks’ notice of intent to leave the University. Any remaining vacation time cannot be taken during the two-week notification period of resignation. Employees forfeit any accrued but unused vacation time if they do not provide at least a two (2) weeks’ notice of resignation. The University may exercise discretion in accepting an employee’s resignation as effective immediately or effective at any point within the notice period.
