6.16 Immigration Law Compliance

FNU complies with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 and is committed to employing only those individuals who are authorized to legally work in the United States.

As a condition of employment, each new employee must properly complete, sign and date the first section of the Department of Homeland Security’s Form I-9. Employees must also present the original necessary document(s) to prove identity and employment eligibility.

Former employees who are rehired must also complete the form if they have not completed the form I-9 with FNU or within the past three years, or if their previous I-9 is no longer retained or valid.
