5.11 Disciplinary Procedures and Responsibilities

Disciplinary responsibility at FNU resides with the following:

The faculty have the responsibility and authority necessary for good classroom discipline.

The campus deans are responsible for student discipline on their individual campuses, both in and out of the classroom. If a student wants to appeal a disciplinary decision, they may do so using the Honor Court. The student must follow the procedures set in that policy.

The President’s Executive Leadership team, who manage the major components of the University on behalf of the President, have the responsibility and authority to manage university-wide discipline, both in and out of the classroom.

The President of the University has the ultimate responsibility and authority for adjudicating disciplinary matters.
