Rights and Privileges of the Clinical Instructor

• CIs who have completed the APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor Course are eligible to receive 2 CEUs per student, which may be used towards the total number of CEUs required for licensure renewal.
• CI’s reserve the right to provide feedback to the Institution based on their experiences with PTA Students.
• If a position is available, CIs will be afforded the opportunity to be an active participant in the PTA Program Advisory Committee.
• In the case of student inappropriate conduct or violation of the facility policies, procedures and or rules, the CI has the right to initiate dismissal proceedings of the student from their clinical facility.
• CI’s are welcome to use the FNU Library as well as receive access to LIRN (Library and Information Resources Network).
• Per the MOU (Memorandum of Understanding), FNU offers discounted tuition rates to any employee of agencies, facilities and hospitals that have a current affiliation agreement with the University.
