8.7 Holidays

Time off with pay is granted for recognized holidays whenever business permits. Memorial and Labor Day, since they are always on Monday, will be paid and no class will be held. Independence Day will only be paid if it falls on Monday thru Thursday.

Neither the students nor faculty will attend the following days:

1. Memorial Day
2. Independence Day
3. Labor Day
4. Thanksgiving Day

Note: Holidays are only paid if the full-time faculty member is scheduled to work on that specific holiday and will be paid according to the amount of hours they are scheduled to work on that specific Holiday. For example: If a full-time faculty member is scheduled to work five (5) hours on a Thursday, on the Thanksgiving Day holiday of that term, the full-time faculty will be paid those five (5) hours only.
