Financial Aid Notification
Once the FAFSA is completed and any additional documentation requested has been provided to the Financial Aid Office, students will receive a Financial Aid Notification that their financial aid offer is ready to view.
The financial aid offer serves as a crucial document for students, detailing the financial support available to cover educational expenses. It includes a breakdown of the total cost of attendance, which encompasses tuition, fees, room and board, and other related costs. The offer outlines various forms of aid, such as grants, scholarships, work-study opportunities, and loans, helping students navigate their options and make informed decisions regarding their financial commitment to education.
Prospective students receive paper notification during their interview with a financial aid advisor and are required to complete and return a copy to the Financial Aid Office. As soon as the financial aid offer is ready, returning students receive email notification their funding has been calculated and are able to view and accept their awards their student portal under my financial aid section.
In the first section, students will be able to select the academic year in which awards are available to accept or decline. They should also be able to download or print a copy.

The second section details the factors that influence the cost of attendance. Cost of Attendance is the estimated total expense of attending an institution for an academic year. This includes Direct Costs, which are charges paid directly to the institution (such as Tuition), and Indirect Costs, which are expenses incurred due to attendance that are not paid directly to the institution.

Under the section, students can view any loans, grants, or scholarships they've been awarded.

In this final section, after students review and understand the financial aid offer, they can accept or decline the awards. If they need additional guidance at any point, they can contact the financial aid office.
