Fees for Federal Student Loans

A loan fee is deducted from the amount of money disbursed to the student while in school. This means the money the student receives will be less than the amount they actually borrow. Students are responsible for repaying the full amount borrowed, not just the amount received.

On or after 10/1/20 and before 10/1/26 the origination fee is 1.057%.
