Adjunct Faculty

Adjunct faculty may be utilized to instruct courses, in their area of expertise, during the PTA core curriculum.

Lab Assistant(s)

Lab Assistants assist faculty during the lab components of the PTA core curriculum to provide additional hands-on instruction to students.

Guest Lecturer(s)

Healthcare professionals participating in the program to educate, inform and lecture students about their particular area of expertise.

Clinical Instructor (CI)

A licensed PT or PTA that is responsible for the direct supervision, guidance and instruction of the student during their clinical practicum. The CI is also responsible for completing the Clinical Performance Instrument. CI’s are required to have one year of clinical experience. The APTA’s Credentialed Clinical Instructor Course is encouraged, but not required.

Site Coordinator of Clinical Education (SCCE)

The SCCE oversees the clinical education component of the facility and works in conjunction with the DCE to coordinate the schedule of the student.
