Student/Clinical Site Selection Process

Students eligible to attend Clinical Practicum 2, by completing all required prerequisite courses, will be given the opportunity to indicate their top 6 clinical site choices for each clinical experience. Every attempt will be made to match students with their top choices for clinical placement. However, if more students rank a clinical site as their first choice than there are slots available, a lottery system will be employed. In consultation with the Program Director, the DCE reserves the ultimate authority to confirm the appropriateness of the placement for each student.
