Procurement of Sites

Clinical sites will be reviewed by the DCE or the PD prior to entering a clinical agreement. This review will consist of an interview with clinical therapy staff or, when possible, an on-site visit, to verify the site has:

• An SCCE to act as a liaison between the facility and the program’s DCE.
• Qualified CI’s as evidenced by discussion with the SCCE.
• The ability to expose the student to a variety of patient conditions/diagnoses.
• The ability to provide a safe environment for the student to learn.
