MAR 4203 Marketing Channel and Logistics
This course studies the nature of the distribution channels in marketing of goods and services. It includes a description and analysis of the physical distribution system with emphasis on channel design, strategies, and flows among channel members. It will deal with issues related to logistics and channel management such as inventory management, supply chain, design/coordination, revenue management, and sourcing upon institutions, functions, and their integration into channel systems including wholesaling and retailing.
