Florida National University is licensed by the Commission for Independent Education, Florida Department of Education. Florida National University’s Nursing Division has four licenses: one for the Hialeah Campus (for the BSN program), two for the South Campus (one for the BSN program and one for the ADN program), and one for the Training Center for the ADN. Effective April 23, 2021, the Associate Degree in Nursing program at Florida National University at the Training Center located at Hialeah, Florida is a candidate for initial accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing. This candidacy expires on April 23, 2023.

ARRT

The Associate of Science in Radiologic Technology and Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Technology (Medical Ultrasound) programs at Florida National University are Educational Programs recognized by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (www.arrt.org) 1255 Northland Drive St. Paul, MN 55120, (651) 687-0048. This accreditation recognizes the Program's compliance with the nationally established accreditation Standards.

CoARC

The Florida National University, Respiratory Therapy program #200557, Associate of Science Degree, Hialeah Campus is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (www.coarc.com).

The Florida National University Degree Advancement program #510003, Bachelor of Science degree, Hialeah Campus holds Provisional Accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (www.coarc.com).

This status signifies that a program with an Approval of Intent has demonstrated sufficient compliance with the Standards (through submission of an acceptable Provisional Accreditation Self Study Report (PSSR) and any other documentation required by the CoARC, as well as satisfactory completion of an initial on-site visit), to be allowed to admit students. It is recognized as an accredited program by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), which provides enrolled students who complete the program with eligibility for the Respiratory Care Credentialing Examination(s). The program will remain on Provisional Accreditation until it achieves Continuing Accreditation.

In accordance with appropriate regulations, Florida National University is approved for Veterans Training by the State of Florida, Department of Veterans Affairs, Bay Pines, Florida 33744, (727) 319-7402. http://www.floridavets.org. As a result, the university is authorized to receive veterans educational benefit funds.

DoDI

Florida National University is an authorized participant of the Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 1322.25, Change 3 (Voluntary Education Partnership), effective July 7, 2014; as a result, the university is authorized to receive military tuition assistance (TA) funds. Florida National University is authorized by federal law to enroll non-immigrant alien students.

NAECOB

ln accordance with the National Accreditation & Equivalency Council of the Bahamas Act, Florida National University has met NAECOB's standards for recognition. Programs offered online, blended, hybrid or ground-based to the people of the Bahamas will be recognized in the Bahamas.
