MAR 4203 Marketing Channel and Logistics
This course studies the nature of distribution channels in marketing goods and services. It includes a description and analysis of the physical distribution system, emphasizing channel design, strategies, and flows among channel members. It will deal with logistics and channel management issues such as inventory management, supply chain, design/coordination, revenue management, and sourcing upon institutions, functions, and their integration into channel systems, including wholesaling and retailing. Prerequisite: Completion of all lower-level coursework.
