Students’ Rights
It is the right of the student to:
- Know what services Florida National University offers to all students.
- Have access, upon written request directed to the proper FNU officials, to a list of the types of records and student-related reports maintained on him or her by the respective offices and departments at FNU.
- Know the policies and procedures regarding financial aid, enrollment, registration, and of any changes in his or her program, classes, and grades.
- Privacy of all records.
- Challenge record contents through Florida National University’s established appeal processes.
- Have access to all FNU student service offices and their benefits.
- Have a safe, healthy, and pleasant atmosphere for learning, studying, and research.
- Participate in any student activities.
- Know the criteria used in the selection of recipients of financial aid and the method used for calculating need.
- Be fully informed of FNU refund and repayment policies.
