Program Goals

The following goals are designed to fulfill the mission of the Physical Therapist Assistant program and uphold the mission of the University:

• Graduates will possess the core knowledge and skills necessary for employment as Physical Therapist Assistants.
• Graduates will exhibit the required skills needed for the successful completion of their program of studies.
• Graduates will demonstrate personal and professional development skills as well as the ethical awareness necessary for success in their career.
• Faculty will employ contemporary and evidence-based education practices.
• The program will meet the rehabilitation needs of the community.
• The program will meet the needs of the graduates by assisting them with finding and securing employment.
