PCT 200 Multi-Skilled Clinical Practicum
This course reinforces the knowledge and skills learned throughout the certificate program. Student learning outcomes will reinforce competencies to serve as a Patient Care Technician, under the direct supervision of clinical setting personnel and an assigned faculty evaluator. This course also includes a comprehensive review that prepares students for Florida’s CNA certification licensure exam, and the National Certified Care Technician exam (NCPCT), the National Certified Electrocardiography Technician exam (NCEKG), and the National Certified Phlebotomy Technician exam (NCPT). The student must complete 120 hours of externship.
