PCT 125 Basic Phlebotomy

This course introduces theory and techniques utilized in modern phlebotomy. Student learning outcomes focus on the preparation of the patients for phlebotomy, drawing, and processing of blood, and routine blood bank procedures. Additionally, students will develop competencies to work in clinics, hospitals, health-related facilities, or doctors’ offices. (3 hrs. Lect.)
