ESL 001 Integrated Practice I

This course introduces basic grammar, functional language, vocabulary, pronunciation, and spelling, with emphasis on cultural awareness. It prepares learners to respond to basic everyday interactions. The course material is intended to aid in developing skills for active listening and understanding basic spoken language, comprehension of short texts, and writing simple sentences. Additional material is provided on topics related to local history and socio-cultural heritage. (17 hours/week). Prerequisite: Placement Test.
