Master’s Degree Programs
The admission requirements for the master's programs are as follows:
- Documentation of Prior Education as described in the Admission Policies and Procedures
Documentation of Prior Education, which for the Master's degree programs means the submission of official bachelor's degree (or higher) transcripts from an accredited institution with a GPA of at least 2.5. If the transcripts are in a foreign language, the student must provide credential evaluation with calculated CGPA by an outside agency approved by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).
Applicants with a bachelor's degree from a non-regionally accredited institution will be considered for admission. Such applicants must demonstrate an undergraduate GPA of 2.50 or greater on a 4.00 scale and a GMAT score of 450+ or a GRE score of 150+ in each section. If undergraduate GPA is less than or equal to 2.49, applicants must demonstrate a GMAT score of 400 and above or a GRE composite score of 150 (or 900).
- Complete an interview with an FNU admissions representative.
- Submit a completed and signed Enrollment Application.
- Submit a written essay of a minimum of 500 words depicting the reason for pursuing an advanced degree in the area of choice to demonstrate adequate writing skills.
- Have at least 6 bachelor level credit hours in the student's area of concentration or equivalent work experience.
- Complete a career aptitude interview with program division head.
- Foreign students whose native language is not English must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and obtain a score of 62 or above with each section with an acceptable level (intermediate or fair and above), or a score of 5.5 on the IELTS, or a 44 on the PTEA.
- Individual programs have additional requirements that must be met before admission to the program. Please see the section of the catalog titled "Academic Programs" and review whether there are additional admission requirements in your program of interest.
- Make a commitment to abide by FNU directives and regulations.
