Cell Phones

During lectures, laboratory sessions or clinical practicums, cellular phones, should be turned off and remain in the student’s backpack or pocket. Cellular phones may be used during break sessions only. If the student must accept a call, as the faculty is aware emergency situation arise, the student will wait until in the hallway to answer the call. Cell phones are strictly prohibited during all written or practical examinations and skills check-offs. During written examinations all cell phones will be placed on the instructor’s desk and may be collected after completing and turning in the exam. During practical examinations and skills check-offs the student’s cell phone should be turned off and remain in the student’s backpack.
