CTS 1651C LAN Switching and Wireless Networks
The course aims to give students a thorough understanding of local area network (LAN) switching technologies and protocols. This course covers networking fundamentals, basic Ethernet LAN implementation, configuration of LAN switches using the Command-Line Interface (CLI), and essential TCP/IP network protocols. Through a combination of theoretical lectures, hands-on lab exercises, and real-world scenarios, students will develop the knowledge and skills required to design, implement, and troubleshoot LAN switching environments effectively. Prerequisite: CGS1030 and CNT2000C.
