COP XXXX Python Programming I
The course is designed for students without any prior experience in programming. Students will learn the fundamentals concepts in programming languages, Object Oriented programming, and significant tools and techniques to implement them. This includes syntax specification, semantic models; binding and scoping; data types, and control structures. The language used could be Python, C++, or other OOP languages different than Java. The focus is on developing working programs that solve real problems. (2 hrs. Lect., 2 hrs. Lab.) Prerequisite: CGS 1030.
