CGS 2540C Database Management System
This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of database management systems (DBMS), with a focus on Microsoft Access. Students will learn fundamental concepts and practical skills necessary for designing, creating, and managing databases efficiently. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge and hands-on exercises, students will gain proficiency in utilizing the MS Access environment, building tables, forms, queries, sharing data, and demonstrating effective database management techniques. Prerequisite: CGS1030.
