CNT 2000C Networking Essentials
The course gives an introduction to the field of computer networking, teaching the concepts and vocabulary of computer networking, gaining hands-on experience in basic networking technology for local area networks (LANS). Students are introduced to the terminology and concepts of electronic communications systems including the OSI (open systems interconnection) model, network hardware and software requirements, information structures, transmission protocols, and network architectures.
