Diploma and Certificate Programs
Career Education Programs
These programs are non-degree vocational and technical Programs.
The admission requirements for the career education diploma programs are as follows:
- Documentation of Prior Education as described above.
- Be beyond the age of compulsory education, which is 16 years of age in the State of Florida.
- Complete an interview with an FNU admissions representative.
- Submit a completed and signed Enrollment Application.
- Make a commitment to abide by FNU directives and regulations
- International students, on an I-20 Visa, applying to Florida National University’s career education diploma programs, and whose native language is not English, must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (the TOEFL) and obtain a score of 62 or above with each section with an acceptable level (intermediate or fair and above), or a score of 5.5 on the IELTS, or a 44 on the PETA. Satisfactory completion of university level English courses from an accredited institution will also serve to demonstrate fluency.
- Take a diagnostic test when enrolling in a program that includes ENC 1101 and/or MAC 1105 as a requirement.
