NGR 6560 Advanced Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing III: Role Synthesis
This course emphasizes the application of selected theoretical and conceptual models for assessing, planning, treating, and evaluating individuals and families with dysfunctional patterns and restoring mental health. This course continues to develop advanced skills to intervene with clients across the lifespan experiencing acute and chronic psychiatric disorders in various settings. This course also discusses group counseling methods and skills. Ethical and legal considerations of group counseling are also explored. (3 hrs. Lect.)
