CJE 5320 Police Administration
This course will focus on the law enforcement agency from the standpoint of top and middle management, including (but not limited to) labor relations, personnel management, fiscal administration, and the integration of internal and external operations. Students will draw from organizational theory and police policy research to explore the future of policing, news media relations, leadership, negotiating skills, problematic employees, performance evaluations, community policing, and counterterrorism.
